      I have this speaker, I have seen it not this cheap but with the expensive 25 dollar case for it.
      But still a great price for a great product, all the other bluetooth speakers look like crap

        I've used both, this speaker has great mids and lows with strong bass as well. However I wouldn't say the battery is that great.

        The UE has better highs and decent mids, but lows and bass are not as good. However it does have amazing battery.

        So basically they are both good, just depends on which sound you prefer and if battery is a big issue.

    Yeah I got my mum one for xmas and she loves it. Quality sound and goes quite loud with good bass, Battery lasts about 6 hrs play after a charge

  The lows and mids are really nice but I find it really lacking in highs. They make awesome gifts though. It looks good, is built very well, and most people can find a use for it.

  Been eyeing this for a while, best price so far. Bought it from Myer yesterday and went back to get back the difference after seeing this post, they were happy to do it. Thanks OP.

  Btw previous post said some could get it for $220 at jb hifi. Asked two stores, one said no discounts for bose and the other offered only $10 off.

    They were $219 at Videopro in Dec last year. Now they're $242 and comes with the transparent cover worth $29.95. If you were going to get the cover anyway, Videopro's price is pretty good - $212 for the speaker and $29.95 for the cover.

  I went to JB as soon as I saw this since been eyeing on this for a while and shown them the MYER website, no question ask, they just matched it.
  Best of all, I got $30 JB voucher from Kris Kringle and used it to and bring it down to $181. Awesome! Thanks OP.

  Does the Aldi Braun speaker (looks identical) have the same functionality?
  If so, has anyone compared the Braun sound reproduction to the Bose?
  The Braun is $30 standard price, hence why I ask.

    Functionality will probably be mostly the same, but I'm quite certain they will not sound the same!

      Just remembered my friend has the Bose one.
      I will get the aldi Bauhn(thank you) and compare.
      No risk in trying it out, aldi have a decent return policy I believe

        Decided to save $180 and trial Bauhn.
        When roaming (shed/carport/garden) SQ matters little.. it's just for some company.
        When not roaming, my existing setup can probably enhance/tweak the output to something decent.
