    I think the ones that aren't hyperpinked are the ones which flow onto a second line.
    Start the link from its own line, like you did with "Bloxy World" one

      I'm not too keen on the TeachMe Math Facts or TeachMe 3rd Grade apps for older kids (we only rated them 3 Stars each). Their kinder, toddler & 1st & 2nd Grade apps are brilliant though so 2nd Grade might be worth a try.

    Sorry- posting reply to Rictzer but a bit slow.

    I recommend a good 'sing the times tables' way of learning the tables. Times tables maybe old fashioned, but are still very necessary. Really concentrate on the four operations. If he gets those down pat, he has a strong basis for everything. Use concrete objects- old buttons or milk tops will do, and progress from there. You don't really need to spend a fortune on these things. Apply the maths to real life situations so that he sees the value; eg I have 72 lollies to share between 6 people for party bags. How many will each person get? My two cents worth as a primary teacher.

    I also enjoy the apps every Friday and have installed many apps that my reading recovery students love.

  I just clicked on your website and saw you also have a similar website for Android apps, but you never promote it on OzB !

    Why the favouritism? Am I allowed to say that I think iOS is better than Android?! The Android site is fairly new so most of our traffic comes to the iOS site which is why I concentrate on it on OxB. I will ask my Android colleague to post specials here from now on too… just for you!

      I have a iPhone 5S myself.
      But like any self respecting parent who wouldn't like their phone trashed, I fianlly relented last week and bought a Sammy 10.1" tablet for the kids (during the GG 15% off ebay sale).
      This is for the kids use when we are out and about.
      So, I wouldn't mind Android bargains at all !:)

      Pay for an app? I shall decline in true ozB tradition :)
      Kinda disappointing that I fell for the hook "Completely free App" only to discover it costs $5

      wondering if the other apps have been rated independantly
      I have tried 'Whats My Reading Age" and my son who is 7 has completed all levels and has a reading age of 15 years and 6 months. Either he is very good or the app is very bad :) I know he is above average, but 15 years is stretching it a tad :)
