  Some good deals if you want to stay in a nice Hotel. Me and wife got cheap tickets to melbourne in early september. We are trying to find cheap decent accomodation in melbourne (roughly under $100 a night). Surprisingly it's pretty hard to find such a place. So, we still looking. Sydney seems to be cheaper as I booked a nice hotel (3.5 stars in the heart of the city for $100 a night last year). Let me know if someone finds a good hotel in Melbourne CBD for under $100 a night.

  When are you going? I'm staying at oaks on collins for $115 (mystery wotif deal) in a few weeks. pretty cheap!! and it's 4.5* according to the hotel.. but expedia seemed to have some pretty cheap prices. hard to find under $100 for melbourne unless they have these special sales.
