    I was going to pre order from steam but after they bumped the price up i bought off GMG, only difference is that it doesn't launch through steam but you can add it into your steam library anyway lol.

      It doesnt launch through steam anyway, steam just launches uplay, ala Farcry 3

      Do you mean you copy+paste the key into 'Activate a Product' thing and it appears as a new game in your Steam library available for download; or are you talking about installing the game using UPlay then using the 'Add a Non-Steam game' feature?

    This turned me off preordering it. It'll undoubtedly still be a great game still. Just whether or not it'll be a day 1 purchase.

        It should've already been made available but they're having technical issues apparently. Fyi GMG operates like steam and local retailers in that you get your key at the release date/time for your region.

      only small bits of info on it, Ubisoft put a review embargo on it, so the big review sites like IGN, GameSpot etc have to wait until the game is released before publishing the review…. funny thing though if you go to IGN.com the main advert is watch dogs and on the right hand side is a small falsh advert for it which flashes up "REMARKABLE" IGN ..hahaha

      funny how ubisoft are happy to use quotes from a review not even published… (assuming the review even exists)..hehehe

        Eh, you can pay IGN to say anything. I read one of their reviews on a Dragonball Z game where the whole review was hate and "this is awful", "what a terrible game mechanic" and not one word of praise, then they gave it 8.5. uwottm8?

    Works out to be about $44.61 AUD. Got an email confirming it, then it gives you a download link. The download link shows you how to use UPlay to download Watch Dogs, with a CD-Key, however you don't get the CD Key yet. I assume that's because it has not been released in the UK as yet. Wish they would just tell you that. Good price, as the cheapest I have seen is $69 from JB for the PC ver.

    Website is down, people are going nuts on their facebook page, some have even requested a refund through Paypal. As other means of purchasing the game gets an immediate cd key

    Just bought the game now using the code i posted above for $40. Got the code emailed to me in the order confirmation email instantly, downloading from uPlay now.

    I ended up using the mexican vpn Origin trick. Got the deluxe for 45US. I know it's not the cheapest out there but at least I know I can trust Origin with my payment details.
