  • Anyone have experience using this on a RaspberryPi?

    • Works a treat

      • Not sure if true, but read you need to pair the receiver & keyboard on a pc or other device first before plugging into rpi.

Mine already had been paired and worked instantly.

        • That may be true, I had it on my media PC first, them tried it on the pi.

Either way, it does work on my pi,

You 'may' though need to plug it into a PC first :-)

Awfully close when converted. Black & White available. Obviously can buy other things from Amazon probably for more savings than local.

edit: looks like Amazon have mixed the K400 and K400R on the same product page. 400R white model is about $1.60 more. Black 400 model is a bit cheaper.

  • So why would you buy this over the white model for 27.56 @ OW?

    • +1

White model is really cheap. K400 white model at officeworks is different to the K400R. Can't remember the details but an internet search should bring up the differences between these two.

    • Good luck finding stock. They are identical in use to the black tho

    • Besides slight aesthetic differences:
      K400R has programmable hotkeys
      K400 has less touchpad gestures

      K400 - gestures
      1.Left Click (Tap-to-Click)
      2.Double-tap-and-drag
      3.Vertical Scroll

      K400r - gestures
      1.Left Click (Tap-to-Click)
      2.Double-tap-and-drag
      3.Right Click
      4.Vertical Scroll
      5.Horizontal Scroll
      6.Zoom
      7.Windows 8 Edge gestures
