  • I can finally play music in my shed now.

I can finally play music in my neighbor's shed now.

  • I bought it, looked for a place to apply the discount, but could not see it. Went through Paypal thinking it is probably near the end. Below "continue" it said "you will confirm the purchase on Meritline", so I thought no harm in clicking through to another screen. Forget it! Order confirmed straight away without chance to apply the code.

Not sure where I stuffed up, but not happy. They only accept cancellations by phone!

    • On the mobile site as soon as you add it to cart and view there is a very obvious section to apply code. Didn't try desktop version. Good luck with your phone call.

After an hour on hold, the call will probably end up costing more than the cable.

        • That's why I won't bother to call. Oh well, even at full price it is not all that bad compared to other places.

        • just use the chat function in the contact page.

          http://www.meritline.com/t-contact.aspx

explain you didn't know how to enter the code. ask for a partial refund.

I've done it before. it was easy

        • It's offline… Will try tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion.

        • I just got a response to my email to them. They applied the discount code and refunded the difference. I have to say, that's really good service.

        • I once went through and the code expired in the process and I ended up paying full price.

Just sent them an email (and copied the code) and they refunded the difference happily.

          Great service, really easy!

    • I found that happened before I logged in. The description does say "You need to log in and then it provides a coupon code box." I didn't read that bit :-) So, create an account, log in, add this to your cart, discount section appears.

      • I went straight to check-out after logging in, so probably missed the cart section.

Oh no, it only works for iPods and iPhones.

I was going to use this to hook up my PC to my stereo's AUX input. Guess I can't do that now.

    • +2

You can try, but it might void the warranty of the cable.

      • +6

It depends what region the cable is, if it's region 4 it might still work even though not supported by the manufacturer. Someone's probably published a hack for how to do it.

    • Buy a monster one…
