    • Thanks for the notification…was half interested in the deal!

  • Got a 13" from Megabuy last year. Was a couple of days delayed and I had to contact them to follow up, otherwise no issues.

  • Bought a 13" MBA from megabuy last September off this deal.

After I paid, read the WP comments and got really worried. MBA arrived first within a couple of days without any the specified gifts. A day later, the gifts turn up in a separate delivery. My request for a tax invoice was also pretty hassle free.

I know heaps of people had problems with them but that's just my experience with them from my one and only purchase with them. Sample size isn't great I know, but I reckon there is an element of luck involved.

Better to be safe than sorry, I've had massive problems purchasing items from Megabuy, not saying it's gonna happen to you, but just gotta ask yourself is it worth the risk.

Hit and miss with this company.

  • They still survive means they still got businesses, even with so many horror stories.
Imagine how well they are if only they care to give better service.

this is the same as the $989 one @ DSE right now right? http://www.dicksmith.com.au/apple-computers/apple-macbook-ai…

Yes. Both are a slightly older model (1.3gzh, new one is 1.4 , but has a slower SSD) but they're 99% the same

  • If this is the current model couldn't the apple store just price match it?
