Coffee machines are the new printers

      • +2

Coffee machines are the new toilet tissues… always keep a spare or two incase your old one breaks =P

  • Do these capsules fit Caffitaly® System machines from Woolworths. I seem to recall that they might.

    • +3

      Compatible with Caffitaly coffee capsules

    • +2

      Yes they do

      • +1

        +1 for the Seinfeld reference!

    • Map were the original providers of Caffitaly capsules in Australia before Woolies started selling them. Interestingly, Officeworks, Target & Coles are part of WesFarmers.

These aren't exactly earth friendly :P

        • Imported for Officeworks by Earth Rules.

          Associated?

  • Thanks, bought.

  • +1

Ordered one, the capsules probably aren't very good but for that price you can't go wrong.

    • The picture shows MAP coffee capsules and I would consider those one of the better brands, but your opinion may differ.

  • +1

From picture, pods that appears to be included are:
    -Hot chocolate
    -decaf
    -venezia (strong)
    -milano (mild)
    -single origin (Colombian Arabica espresso)

    • +15

I guess I could bury the decaf capsules for future archeologists to discover.

      • +6

        Like the E.T. Atari cartridges

    • Included are.
      -Strong
      -Medium
      -Mild
-FairTrade (What's Fair Trade Coffee? Is it a particular coffee or the idea that it's done with fair labour)
      -Single Origin

      • fair labour

  • bought. Thanks

Earth, change the title to show FREE DELIVERY as well. What a bargain!

Just bought one. Delivered for $59 would have to be one of the great bargains of the year.

    • +9

Wow, neg'd. Gotta love OB. Cheers all.

      • Fixed

        • Thanks TB.

        • +1

          Hmm…that doesn't quite sound right…(no vaccine)

      • It would have been neg'd by people who couldn't get free delivery. Luckily I could get free store pickup, wanted around $30 for delivery for me.

  • Great deal!!!!!!

  • how long till out of stock…46min since post….i m holding off until we see a nespresso deal

  • Comes down to $0.42/coffee. You would be hard pressed to find anything near 10 times that at shops.

    • Vittoria machines & capsules were half-price at coles ~2weeks ago, at launch. $4.19/12 capsules (machine not included. Now Al Pacino's capsules are now more expensive than George Clooney's!

  • Great deal, one question, do these capsules have an expiry date?

    • +2

Normally around 12 months. Hopefully these are at least six months otherwise I'm in trouble.

  • Ordered one, thanks OP. Basically a free machine after paying for the capsules. Can't go wrong!

  • I impulsed bought one.

Oh God what have I done.

So…. are Caffitaly coffee capsules common?

    • So…. are Caffitaly coffee capsules common?

Yep. Same system as the ones sold for the Woolies machine.

  • +10

Bought one, not sure why. Will work out later.

  • Bought one, not sure why. Will work out later.

Yes…same here..hopefully at least some of the capsules are decent.

Many thanks OP (though I wonder if this will get pulled…)

    • Have my doubts I'll be drinking coffee in the morning..

  • +8

Must. Stop. Coming. Back. To. This. Deal.

68 plus votes does not mean I need to buy.

    • +2

      Same… Don't need one… But do I want one… But it's cheap !!!

  • Did anyone get a store confirmation for pickup or delivery?

  • -3

office works also sells printers very cheap, with 'free ink'…

    • Really silly analogy. And you signed up just to post it. Bizzare!

      • just saying it's likely their strategy to sell this at a low price as an enabler to sell more coffee pods at inflated prices

(and you checked how many posts i made after reading the comment.. i find that bizzare.. )

        • +2

Except those printers come with one ink cartridge partly filled, not 140 cartridges.

        • I reckon this machine should've come with about 300 cartridges.

        • the printers very often come at the similar price as a single cartridge (i.e. a 'free printer')

same principle at play here IMHO.. not saying it's not a good deal if you're after one of these..

        • -1

nope, initial cartridges are almost always between 5-30% full. I printed 10 pages with my epson nx-125 before I needed a new cartridge.

  • Thanks for the post. Bought one, not sure why as I have a built in Miele Nespresso system which does me just fine. Might pop into the cupboard for a future present, so here's hoping the capsules still have decent expiry date left

    • Hey mate. Did u order it online or bought from store?

      • online - received confirmation email as well.

  • Wouldn't let me purchase… why?

  • +1

There was an error processing your order. Please try again or contact customer service centre on 1300 OFFICE (633 423).

    • OzBargained?

    • Usually happens when a deal has been Ozbargained.

  • Anyone else get this "There was an error processing your order. Please try again or contact customer service centre on 1300 OFFICE (633 423)."

    • +2

      Yep

Annoying as hell - both via CC and paypal

I want one - I seek immediate satisfaction

  • -2

Stores are completely out of stock, I just went there and nothing left Australia wide (store wise).

  • +2

Almost bought it… All the way through check out and paypal then I get $25 delivery charge…oh well perks of living in the country… At least I technically saved $59?

  • +6

Made an account just to throw in my $0.02.

I nearly impulse bought a cheap capsule coffee machine before and after doing some research decided against it. Unfortunately this is one of the things where you definitely get what you pay for - the cheap ones don't work very well (Google for reviews on Aldi/Woolworths machines). They burn the coffee and have a weird foamy consistency. I know the deal is tempting, but you'll just end up with 140 cups of burnt foamy coffee.

    • +3

Thank you for making me feel less bad (:

    • +2

Who cares? At this price, it's a free coffee machine.

      • +1

You are one of them who help OW clear their stocks.

        • +1

          You don't like free stuff?

        • +1

How can you state this deal as free stuff? If it is free, why I have to use money to get it?

        • -2

          see above

    • 140 cups of coffee for 60 bucks!!! why complain :p

      • +1

Albeit very small cup. 1 capsule (regardless of brand) = 1 shot. Takes two to make a "real coffee" strength.

  • Mine works and paid for $59 a minute ago by paypal

    • Did u get store confirmation?

      • Yes, I did

  • Got store confirmation..

  • +1

I have been using the Map pods on my Aldi machine for quite a while . These Map pods are great value and great tasting pods compared to the Aldi pods . The difference in taste is huge. The map pods win hands down . I bought this deal mainly for the pods and a free Machine is a bonus. .

  • Ozbargained? Displaying as stock available in store… Anyone know if it'll be available in store? (can't order online getting error)

    • Samesame, error with both cc and paypal, delivery and pickup, bugger…

    • Error at payment stage ruining my compulsive spend.

      • still available at north ryde

    • -1

Tempted to just wake up really early and pickup whatever is on the shelf before they get put on hold HAHA….

      • 7am is "really early"??

        • -1

  • +1

Unable to pay atm. Have tried two different cards and via paypal, but keep getting an unable to pay error.

  • Order is failing for me. Guess I'll try my luck in store tomorrow.

  • All good for me. I used paypal :)

  • Really weird. Logged into Paypal page about to make payment. Then realised it was some one else's address and name in the field. But my card…. What should I do.. Lucky I didn't hit continue.

    • +5

Change your password and contact Paypal immediately and review your purchase history.

      • I have the suspicion that because I hit Pickup.. It's supposed to display the Officeworks address. However, that address is not Officeworks' address but some house down the road from it… confused..

        • +3

Yeah, mine had some chinese dude's name and address for Mitsubishi Australia office in Sydney…

  • +1

    error …..

    can't complete check out
