Coles / Bi-Lo $5 off $100 Spend, NEW Voucher Valid to 3rd August

510

$5 of when you spend $100 in one shop at Cole/Bi-Lo. As per previous post:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/143199

The dates overlap, but this new one is valid until 3rd August and can be used multiple times as long as you DON'T show your Flybuys card for 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc use (they match your Flybuys card to the voucher number and limit it to one use).

Another thing to note is that your final spend must be over $100 after any other offers are applied (such as redeeming 2000 Flybuys points to get $10 off). I got caught out once when I spent $106, then they took off $10 with 2000pts redemption, so I could not use the $5 off voucher. Lesson learned !

I always use my ING card to pay to get another 5% off, so effectively getting 10% off every grocery purchase.

my bill crosses 100$ very rarely.

    • Does that make you crossed with your bill?

  • Good post, but if you spend $100 or more then you won't be eligible for ING 5% back as transaction needs to be <$100.

you can split the bill, i have done it before at the self-checkout just to get the ing5% cashback.

if it is between $100-$104.99 you are ok.. no split payments

      • Nm, I'm an idiot :)

  • Or you don't like to have staff do your check out, there are always self check out, just scan or type the barcode on the system and its alot faster. Also you can do multiple purchases of $100.

  • you only get 9% in total ;)

    • 0.95 x 0.95 = 0.9025, so it is close to 10% off.

Saving $5, thats like a 10-20c per item? Why not just switch to Aldi and save

I'm not saying Aldi is cheaper, but they have smaller range to tame your cravings ;)

    • If you have an Aldi near you, then it is better to shop there first for what you can, then Coles/WW. And always know your prices because Aldi/Coles/WW may not be the cheapest. Especially on fresh food (fruit/vegetables/meat)

Yup I have an Aldi in walking distance. And you are right about knowing the prices, the private labels prices are very similar across the 3 supermarkets. However, I am always tempted to get the branded products when I walk into WW..can't resist, don't know why..

What I like about Aldi is that they only sell the essentials (at least to me), so I'm really limited to what I can buy. I was able to cut down on spending, save time (their range is so small I know where everything are, takes 20 mins to get what I need) and also reduce food waste.

Nearest to me is 387.17 km away…a little far.

        • lol i think they have lodged plan to build first store in Seaford Heights SA but thats gonna take a few more years

  • Edit nm

  • Please keep posting these! Thanks, OP.

  • can u buy $100 gift card?

    • on the voucher —> "Excludes gift card and tobacco related purchases."

  • DON'T show your Flybuys card for 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc

Can someone confirm that this is now the case? I've been showing flybuys over and over with the same $5 off and was still working fine a week or 2 ago.

    • Me too, first I've heard of this

      • Hmmm, ok, some reported issues in previous thread using it more than once with Flybuys so I thought I should mention it. Haven't tried myself as I rarely do more than one large shop at Coles in a month.
