Not in Sydney but I'm sure Sydneysiders who missed out before would appreciate it. +1

    • ohhh yes we do. nice one op.

    • Shame it isn't in the same venue as last year.

      • The Convention and Exhibition Centres at Darling Harbour have been torn down - the tenants at Harbourside were told that it will take 3 years for construction to be completed so this show will be at Sydney Showground for some time

        • I liked that convention centre, and this show was perfect for it. Not a big fan of olympic park tbh.

  • thanks OP

  • EPIC Thanks!

  • yep thanks! missed out last time

Thanks OP. Will these allow access to a theatre session? Or are these pretty easy for anyone to get in to?

    • +1

Unfortunately I can't comment on this based on experience. Maybe someone can who went to the Melbourne show last weekend? (Although unlikely they'll be clicking on this deal haha)

      • +5

Went to the Melbourne show, and happened to come across this.

If you're talking about theatres where a celebrity chef does a demo on stage, they're usually relatively empty and there's plenty of seats, and no prebooking or queueing is required.

If you're talking about workshops like the Barilla cooking, they have a $5 prebooking fee, but you can show up there about 20 mins earlier and they'll give you free tickets.

Others are completely free, but there are usually lines, and you generally have to be there at least 15 minutes before in order to get a spot.

There's also workshop type classes where you have to pay $50 or more, but they last much longer and you get to take home more things.

        • +1

Thanks! Yep, I am talking about theatres where a celebrity chef does a demo on stage.

If you buy the $31 tickets through the regular site they offer you a free "upgrade" to a theatre session. Wanted to make sure I'd still be able to attend one with the free tickets.

        • +1

There's a Beef & Lamb workshop that looks great (NSW) they accidentally posted it for Melbourne.

        • +1

Went to the Melbourne show too.

The theatres do have reserved seating though however if you stick around for around 15 minutes the staff let people standing outside fill the seats afterwards. Theres also Good food and wine $10 cards on each seat.

Another thing is that I expected alot more freebies but although there was good deals on cheese, most of the show exhibitors were companies selling and marketing their products with minimal size samplers in case you were expecting to come back with a haul bag of freebies.

  • Thanks OP.

Any ideas what the "L&S" promotion is for?

      • Preview session sounds good. Wonder how they determine the first 100 people?
