not the cheapest but cheap enough for people who would like this brilliant screen tablet, you can pricematch to bring it down to the lowest price though :)
FYI. New generation of G-Pad announced 2 weeks ago. It comes with 3 sizes - 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1
So the shops might put a lower price tag on 8.3 to offload them.
I have one and think it is brilliant. It is the smoothest Android tablet I have tried. Even though it has a slower processor (snapdragon 600) than latest Samsung stuff I still find it significantly smoother. Every time I try a Galaxy Note or Tab Pro in HN or JB Hifi they always seem laggy on the home screens and in the web browser. No such problem on G Pad running Kit Kat. LG seems to optimise the OS much better than Samsung. Same deal when you try the latest LG phones. I think it is brilliant for the price when they were $299 (still decent at this price).

I saw it for $380+ at HN & JB Hifi yesterday. This may be the cheapest at the moment.
