    Looks like you need an extra cable to use this? ie. Cable from this device to battery.

    I bought a very-similar looking device a while ago, and the one I bought wasn't what I thought it was. This one appears to be the same. It isn't so much a "capacity checker" as a "capacity indicator". It just tells you how much capacity is remaining in a multi-cell battery pack.

    And yes, you need to wire it to EVERY cell in the battery pack, so seven wires will be needed for a six-cell battery pack.

      Usually the battery packs have a "standard" socket already prewired, well i know my LiPo has.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, This is just estimating the capacity by taking the cell/battery voltage. It doesn't appears to have a constant current load for discharging to check real capacity of a battery.

      You're right. It doesn't have a load of any type. It's more like a fancy voltmeter.
