    • See http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/business/story/0,28124,…
      JB Hi-Fi 'offer' pulled
"JB HI-FI is the hottest consumer electronics retailer in Australia, but its overnight online sale of Samsung televisions at $15 a set has proved to be too good to be true and the result, it seems, of a typing error. …"

  • yes… they r still processing it..

i dont know how to upload the invoice here..

  • our rep jakob must have corrected that pricing error by now…..

    haha

  • can i still get it? money was deducted from my credit card…

    • Probably not:

It seems those who placed the order at $15 will not be getting the sets at that offer price, but just what sort of deal will be offered now remains to be seen.

JB Hi-Fi has now tracked down the people who thought they had got a bargain TV set for $15, including some with multiple orders.

In the end, there were just 105 different customers, who will be told that the price was obviously a mistake and the sale won’t proceed, but they will be offered a $1000 (or 29 per cent) discount on the $3500 item.

      • $1000 off is still good!! wish I picked it up

        • A $1000 off is good, just not as good as $3485.

  • the 15% off is a good deal. Bought the same TV before the 15% off just a few weeks ago, now is $250 cheaper.

I picked up a Hisense 42" FullHD for $1200… decent price IMO.

    • same TV I want tomorrow, u got a copy of the receipt at all?? cheers :)

if so can u email me it maybe, quantocks @ gmail . com or just upload it to imageshack or something and post here :D

      cheers :)

      • Ive got the receipt but no digital camera so no way to upload it.

I am pretty sure you will get the same deal. The retail price after the 15% is only 1272 and I asked for 1200 the guy said 1250. Then I said I had called in advanced and been quoted 1200 so he agree immediately. I got the feeling that I could have got it for less if I had tried! Oh well… Im getting it delivered tomorrow as it wouldn't fit in my car. Will let you know if it's any good.

  • gonna go and take the discount price to good guys try and get them to beat it tomorrow :)

    cheers!

  • Forgot to mention I got the 50hz model: HL106V88P
The 100hz is actuyally the previous model and I have heard many bad things about it not being able to support 1080p via HDMI output. No such problems with the newer model tho… plus the 50Hz model has a much better contrast ratio.
