Lego The Simpsons Minifigures 3 for $12 @ Toys R Us

160

Was at Big W yesterday and saw they were selling the Minifigures for $4.75 - figured there had to be others out there that were cheaper and came across this on Lasoo.com.au through the Toys R Us catalogue.

Pretty good at $4 each [if you're a collector] considering they retail for >$4.99 at most other places.

This product comes in different characters which are packed at random. Unfortunately it's not possible to request a specific character online

Go in-store to try and find the characters you want.

Found this article this morning to help you identify which character is in the bag if you're like me and terrible at working out which character is in a bag based on touch. I haven't tried this myself yet.

Or if you do have a keen sense of touch here is this guide to help you work out the characters too:

Not much of a deal to be honest

great deal… would have preferred this special a couple of weeks ago though, i only need one more to complete the set

target had a similar price a few weeks back when they were doing 20% off lego

  • +3

    RRP at 4.99 making $4 a bargain.

Myer currently doing 20% off Lego making these $3.96

Bump code didn't work for me during my search, touch test is the only safe thing. Gd Luck

    • Depends what you are after - I only wanted the family and Marge was the last one I needed - her bump code is extremely easy to identify, there are like 16 bumps or something instead of the usual 4 or whatever.

  • Most people like to believe it but a lasoo search is never enough. Most of the time a lasoo search is pretty much pointless! Not a bad saving but would never trust lasoo to get the best deal.

lasoo is a great way to compare catalogue prices across the major retailers… I sometimes find cheaper prices there than online searches due to sales…

      • I said lasoo is never enough meaning use lasoo to give you a price point then use other sites such as ozbargain google to give you a better guide.

  • I guess if you have none Simpsons mini figure before, you can buy 16 bags with different barcode to guarantee they are different.

    • They have the same barcode…

      • The individual bag barcode should be different. I watched youtube someone used this method to differentiate them.

are you sure, I think reactor might be right

        • same bar code from what i have seen on the packs i have a work (FYI i got a maggie, and a flanders)

        • I think you might be talking about bumpcodes which is something different and usually isn't very reliable since they change depending on area, time into production, etc.

    • If I remember correctly, they had different barcodes for the first two seasons. When they found out people were picking up the rare ones, they stopped making the barcodes unique.

  • As a general question, where can someone cheaply buy normal generic lego figures? I have lots and lots of lego bricks (in the big bulk packs), but they don't come with any figures… and they seem to be super expensive. :(
