  • Quality?

      • According to that thread, these were cheaper at OW… wonder if they still have any in stock.

Reviews seem ok… might give these a try until the QC20 comes on sale or something… the UE6000 is good but the ANC from that is pretty rubbish…

      • OzBargain thread :P

I no longer have them. Very good for the price though. The Amazon feedback appears to be skewed by a bunch of one-star reviews essentially saying the noise cancellation 'does nothing', which was emphatically not true for mine - perhaps there were quite a few faulty units.

        • Aiite you convinced me, might test these against my UE6000 and see which ones are better.

Might go pick one up this Thursday.

  • THey are alright. The battery and volume box has an akward length, and you can her the rubbing of the cable against jacket or shirt, which is a bit annoying. Not as good as
    http://dstore.com/buy/mutant-mig-nc102-active-noise-cancelin…
from OW at $39 at the time
    and not as good as
    http://www.pioneer.com.au/au/products/42/67/226/SE-NC31C/pag…
which were about $49 from COTD 2 years back.

    • The pioneers look nice, not too sure about their claim of "fully enclosed" as my interpretation of that means they isolate the eye canal from outside noise.

They don't seem to have any local stores that sell those… will have to order them from pioneer themselves for $69.95 del.
