  • My brother just bought the 60 inch 200MHz LG for $2500

If you like your sport/action movies and not set on Samsung then perhaps this is a better TV for you..

Um, you can get a top-of-the-line 60" Samsung F8500 plasma for less than this.

    • what would be the main difference with the plasma and LED for the samsungs if they were the same series ?

    • Where? No F series in stock and there is no H series plasmas being sold that I know of.

  • Anyone know the best deal for 60" LED or plasma without 3d feature? DickSmith have this Panasonic TH60A430 for $1280 after 20% disc. Is this a good price?

    • I think that is a good price but could not find any reviews

      • Thanks navarch. Any 3d-tv ozbargainer who uses the 3d feature a lot? Thinking to get 60" with price range $1000-$1300. Can only get second hand one with 3d feature with this price range. Question is, if you were me, would you get second hand 2-3year old 3d tv (some sell with extended warranty in gumtree), or a brand new standard 2d tv? Heard some people regret paying more for 3d feature they dont use a lot. Thanks in advance guys.

        • I'd go with the new 2D, fresh tv panel and brand new.
How many shows or games integrate 3D anyway? Don't think you'll use it much.

I'd get a new 2D TV. 3D and for that matter SMART is bit of a marketing gimmick IMO. In saying that it is becoming hard to find a good TV without these gimmicks
