  • I tested the speed of 64GB Lexar 600x today, it's writing about 8MB/s, very far from the stated 90MB/s. I'm using MBA onboard sd card reader. Anyone has the same speed problem?

    • are you using usb 3.0? i also noticed that copying things over wasnt that fast but i assumed it was because of my usb 2.0 slot.

      • im using the sdcard slot, which I think internally uses usb2. My sandisk extreme 30MB/s writing speed is > 20MB/s, I think this card is overrated at 90MB/s… or otherwise faulty?

        • Overrated, faulty or fake…

    • Are you able to confirm on another device? If so, can you get in touch with [email protected] . It might be that you have a faulty card.

      • I will test it later tonight when I get home. I do have another laptop to test. I'll let you know tomorrow if any problems. Thanks!

        • Mine tests at 85 read and 45 write using crystalmark

        • Do u need a usb 3.0 to used that test?

  • Hhm the other computer that I have is not good enough, both sandisk card and lexar have the same read / write speed around 3.96M read. 7.6M write using crystalmark.

    Maybe I should get a USB 3 card reader…
