This isn't a large discount, but unlike the case with their games, Stardock applications (or any applications for that matter) rarely get discounted, and never by much.

I really enjoy WindowBlinds, and there are lots of free skins available, as well as some payware ones. I don't believe newer versions (Win Vista and above) have been pirated, so going legitamate is the only way you will be able to use these 'prettification' applications.

  Yep, I tried the Windows 8.1 Start button - still sucks. Went back to start8 a few days later.
