Corporate Discount Rates on Last Minute Hotel Bookings - Cheaper than Wotif!!

160

We were given this login at work to share with friends and family so I'm passing it on to my "extended" friends network!
Its a login for quickbeds.com which gives corporate discounts on last minute accommodation.

Ive checked it against wotif.com and it seems to always be cheaper(they have no booking charges - Wotif's are $4.95) PLUS you get a discount at checkout.

Have a look yourself:
goto www.quickbeds.com.au
click on corporate login (YOU MUST LOGIN OR THE DISCOUNTS DONT GET APPLIED)
THIS IS LOCATED UNDER No 3 in the middle of the page (Guests) - Login first then search.

Username: GWF
Pass: gwfoods1
Enjoy!

  • Cant seem to find where to login. theres an agent login and partner login at the bottom of the page. both dont work

    EDIT. IT WORKS THANK U

  • Its pretty hard to see at first - its under guests (number 3) in the middle of the page

  • Just checked prices on a hotel at the sunshine coast, vs wotif. They are identical.

And the discount at checkout?? 1% ! heh heh…

  • Still better than nothing - saves u $4.95 fee and the discount, better than a kick up the bum

a 2 bed apt at Sebel Noosa is approx 30% cheaper on wotif ($360 per night) compared to $459 on quickbeds……not a good deal in my opinion.

If someone can show that this is actually a good deal I'll retract the -ve vote. But it seems to be more expensive than wotif.

  • fair enough - can't hurt to do the comparison tho. generally the same prices on most i've seen, so if you save some money at the end then not a bad thing.

  • Example… 2 bedroom deluxe room at the Azzura on Gold coast (1 night) $220 on Wotif, $145 on Quickbeds. Please retract -ve vote :)

    • Looks like it is $145 without the login tho…

      • yep, looks like its the same price regardless. Perhaps the corporate login just gives a 1% discount.

Seems as though most hotels are approx same price on both sites… with some cheaper on quickbeds and some cheaper on wotif.

        • some prices are same as wotif, and some prices are cheaper - that part is luck of the draw…

however with this deal you get saving (if there is one) plus 1% off through the corporate code plus no 'wotif' fee, so the deal is pretty good.

      done !

looks good to me… saved me about $12 on already pretty cheap rate. i'm not complaining!

  • by the way SydGuy the discount is applied on the payment page

    • ahhh yes your right - cheaper with the login so +ve from me

  • 1% Discount only seems to be for Australian hotels.

If you log in, then search for international hotels, it does not show a discount on the Checkout page.

    Peter.

  • I wonder who is getting the rebate for all the bookings made with this username….

    • I assume the code is for George Weston Foods leisure account. I don't think there would be a rebate as such, but it may improve their corporate rate for business travel.

Wotif is already a ripoff. I used http://wego.com.au to book Somerset on Elizabeth, Melbourne and the pricing was $60 cheaper than Wotif, and also looks $50 cheaper than this website.

  • this shit is just cheap advertising for a crap site.

  • I take it the account is limited to Australian hotels only?
