Just Mobile $5.00 SIM Cards with $9.60 Qwibble Cashback ($4.60 Profit)

Not 100% guarantee to receive the cashback, as I heard some people having troubles with these cashback sites

  • Is the cash back only for new accounts?

  • +1 for the write up :)

  • FYI- You'll be waiting AT LEAST 3-4 months for the "profit" from Qwibble

    • And no guarantee it will work.

  • Hi OP, if you have time could you explain briefly how I go about using Quibble to get cashback? I find their site a bit confusing. I Quibble, but all they asked for was my email address, i.e., no postal address, no credit-card, Paypal or bank details, so I can't see how the 'cash-back' on any purchases will be paid. I clicked on the Quibble site's link to Dan Murphy, and it seems to just go to their normal site, with no mention of Quibble or codes on it. So how would I go about getting the ~5% cash-back on beer bought from Dan Murphy's, that Quibble is offering?

  • We have similar thing with Amaysim & Buckscoop quite a while before.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/74906

The cashback side of Buckscoop becomes Qwibble, and they have explained that the cashback will usually come in after 2-3 months — the merchant (in this case Just Mobile) has to be satisfied that the transaction is not a fraud.

Therefore it is unlikely that you'll be able to claim $9.60 cashback from just once off $5 SIM purchase (and most others listed in the OP).

  • profit =)

  • Hi All,

For those of you that are not familiar with how Qwibble cashback works:

    • You log in to Qwibble, find a retailer you want to buy from and click through using the link on the screen
    • Your Qwibble user ID and a few other bits of information are then tracked by a third party tracking company called an Affiliate Network and the cost of the purchase is also tracked
    • The Affiliate Network will then get information from the Retailer and if both are satisfied that the transaction is legitimate, you have not clicked out to another affiliate site prior to confirming the transaction, and the transaction has not been cancelled within the validation time frame, the Retailer will pay the Affiliate Network who in turn pay Qwibble for referring you.
    • Qwibble pay you once we receive the cash from the Affiliate Network but we need our members to let us know what Australian Bank Account they want to be paid into. This can be done in the profile/settings page once you have logged in.

HOWEVER, if the transaction is cancelled, returned etc then the retailer will decline the transaction and we wont get any referral money to pass on to you.

If we all treat the system with respect then we all win. If we don't, retailers get fed up and remove themselves from campaigns and we all lose.

I have attached a link to the Qwibble help page that may help fill in gaps http://www.qwibble.com.au/help

I hope this information is useful.

  • Erm… really? That sounds far too complex and time-consuming to be something that anyone would be interested in for the meager 'gains' supposedly/possibly on offer via quibble after a 3-4 month wait. But I'd be really happy if I was wrong about this. Has any OB actually saved a decent amount of money via quibble, without spending so much time/ exposing themselves to spam etc. that it was not worth it?

    • Hey GnarleyKnuckles,

Im sorry if we didnt make it clearer but all you need to do is log in to Qwibble, click on a link that takes you to the retailer and buy whatever it was that you were going to buy from them.

We do all the complex time consuming work for you…you just buy and get your cashback when we get paid.
With regards to how much you can make, it depends on who you buy from and what you buy. For example, you can get up to $120 cashback from Qwibble on a Telstra or Vodafone mobile contract, a Dan Murphy wine transaction will get you 10.8% if you buy wine, 3.2% from BigW and so on. We have quite a lot of merchants and we do our utmost to make sure that we get paid so you get your cashback and we have members that make hundreds of dollars in cashback just by clicking links and shopping as they normally would.

  • I really do appreciate your efforts at 'damage-control' here QA2, but QA1 made it pretty clear that the process is far from simple/ involves a convoluted series of middle-men/checks-and-balances etc., each of which take (a lot of?) time…; a lot of different points where things could come unstuck, and if that happened the humble consumer would have no easy way of knowing exactly where/why that had occurred, for any particular/individual transaction.
Also pretty telling that no OB has posted a positive 'Quibble' experience on this thread.
Anyways, I appreciate your considered response, thanks mate :)
