  • As always tom great work :)

  • +1

    Air Asia are establishing an interesting 'history'

    Their prices are creeping…..in the last 2 months their pricing trend for each way;

    $99
    $129
    $132
    $149

    • subterfuge pricing is coming into play;

    In the last couple of months, they have increased the prices of

    Luggage upsize, and
    In-flight meals, and
    Admin fee for changing flights

    Interestingly this trend began after they started their 'No admin fee' marketing campaign.

    • Guess there is no such thing as a free lunch…

    • Higher prices should not come as a surprise as the peak holiday/travel season approaches.

  • Great deal I am going to Vietnam (from GC) with them in October $400 Return last time they had a deal took me ages to find the flights and the stay over night in KL on the way (hard to avoid), but I remember when a ticket to Vietnam was $1100 min - Was able to get a connecting flight from GC to KL to LONDON Return in March next year for $900AU shame I cant get any more time off.

  • I just book 2 tickets from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur

    Flight
    2 Guest 572.00 AU
    Surcharges, fees & taxes 180.00 AU
    Sub Total 752.00 AU
    Services & Fees AAX Meal 21.00 AU
    Supersize Regular (up to 15KG)20.00 AU
    Amenity Kit 13.00 AU
    Supersize Medium (up to 20KG)56.00 AU
    Sub Total 110.00 AU
    Total Amount 862.00 AU

    I feel like a thief
    lolololol

    • nice work, enjoy your holiday

  • just got my ticket on malaysia airline cost me $440, its a really bargain.

  • Now Gold Coast - KL for AU149 one way, as they add frequency (to 6 weekly from 4 weekly)

    Bad news for those Sydneysiders who are waiting for Syd-KL, the Malaysian government has effectively blocked the route until sometimes in the future. Hence the addition frequency to GC.

  • I actually like some feedback on their flights.
    They have good deals… cheaper than most to KL, etc.
    But I hear some really bad things, such as cabin sizes are smaller than usual boeing planes.
    The service should be OK, but facilities not.
    I rate it along the lines of Jetstar, but cheaper.

    • I find them allright for what you pay for. Its a comfy seat (but I'm not a huge guy), nice food and extras very affordable.
