    What's wrong with the comment jv? It's based on fact. It's been free every second week for the past 2 months. Doesn't mean it's not a good deal.

    Yes, this app has also been free, but more like every 4-6 months.

  Thanks op! I've been waiting for a while for this app to go on special, as I had missed the last deal. I was going to pay the full price until I came across "Listen: The Gesture Music Player" as a free alternative. It seems to be just as good, for those who might miss the current deal.

  Additional tip: jailbreak your phone, install carmode tweak, choose whichever car audio app you want and it will launch it as soon as it detects bluetooth connection with your car's headunit. I love when everything is automated.

    I like it cause it shows the album art of the song all the time and did not dim the screen.

    It's got some cool swipe functionality and doesn't require too much of your attention when changing songs, etc.

    There is a downside that when you get out of the car it can reach to your movement and plays/shuffles. That's mostly the fault of the big squishy pink thing holding the phone.

      It only shuffles if you have Settings / Music / Shake to Shuffle set to On in your phone settings. So that's not the app shuffling, it's your phone.

    Apple player is also unusable in landscape mode.

    Yeah, swiping left and right to change songs - all without the need to look away from what you're doing on the road. That's what I like about it. The only downside is it doesn't show the time & battery level which I would like to see i.e. whether it's charging or not.
