      I also want to know the answer to this question. I only found this in their terms and conditions, seems to relate to tomorrow's sale, but nothing about Friday's $10 sale.

        The Tiger flight and the Jetstar flight need to be within one hour of each other for Jetstar to price beat. There also needs to still be available seats at that price on Tiger.
        If so then scroll to the bottom of Jetstar.com and click Price Beat Guarantee. You "live chat" with a Jetstar agent who asks you which fare you are beating and makes the booking for you. Today it took about 30 mins to complete.
        The other bonus is you can use any credit card and pay no card fee.

      Yes and no stingers! Disclaimer* The ave temp is 26c in Sept but not sure of water temp. Take a bus to airlie beach and shute harbour, get a ferry to daydream island, a tour to the great barrier reef, or whitehaven beach. Take a rainforest walk. Im going in July which is a bit cooler but its still warmer than here!

    Available dates prove difficult to get $10 both ways on Mel-Adel routes. You would have to combine a $10 fare with a return $39 fare between these two cities- $49 two ways, ie a saving of $29 on the total journey excluding insurance,taxes,seats,luggages and other choices.
    As far as I can see now, Mel > Adel has only one date left for $10 fares in Aug, whilst Adelaide > Melbourne has three dates left for $10 fares and they are all in July and September 2014. Well done tiger marketing for weaving the costs savings such that you never land a double savings (for a short trips < 1 week duration ). Ok fair enough you have a business to run.
