The notion that consumption of MSG is particularly bad for your health is a myth sustained by the lure of "conventional wisdom" rather than hard evidence. The claims have about as much scientific support as the MMR-autism scare campaigns.
On a more general note, when people eat powdered soup, they're not hoping for dazzling nutritional benefits in any case. So I'm not sure what your point is.
@yogiU, fair call about Continental. But do you really think La Zuppa soup will be any better? You don't think that a sample pack of soup can be posted and store unrefrigerated for 2 years isn't loaded with chemicals and preservatives?

Compare the ingredients, La Zuppa contains literally the ingredients you would put in your own soup, basically just the vegetables, soup and some salt etc.
Continental soup has all sorts of extras to make it taste good, and nutritionally its not healthy either.

Agree with you about the Greek Chicken soup, it was really a Lemon soup. Still, great to get an opportunity to try and another one.

The coconut curry is 51% chicken stock. Maybe a better name would be chicken stock with a hint of coconut and curry.

Received today - Curry Laksa soup. The ingredients list looks pretty great tbh. Gonna try it in a little while. Will post results.
Sad to say, the curry laksa isn't that nice. its appropriately spicy, but lacks a lot of flavour and is quite thin. the veges are nice and thick/large but theres a bit too much carrot in proportion to everything else. The noodle packet was also measly and felt a little hard still after following instructions and letting sit for 2 mins on top. For stirring purposes, since the veges are quite large and the noodles hard to begin with I would make a larger container or fill this one less as even pulling the foil off can be difficult let alone stirring the whole thing multiple times.
