  • can these be used for Google Play credits?

    • +2

      Yes they can.

      • Thanks for the confirmation.

  • According to this, yes can be used for play credits..

    http://www.telstra.com.au/latest-offers/google-play/

Someone would need to test though.

    • Sucks that comixology was bought out by amazon and the very first thing they did was remove google play as a payment method.

  • +2

Can confirm you can use for Google Play.

  • Can you use this for LoL riot points

  • Can this be used in the Telstra 3G + wifi broadband dongle? If so, does that give me 3GB of data for $30?

    • +1

Yep. Just make sure when you activate it, select "iPad" if you're activating it online to get the full 3GB

      • ooo i didn't know about that loophole. cool

        • Surely every zbargainer know rhe telstra deal bu jow.
Note if you use the ipad plan sim on a non ipad they can alter the deal…but in practice it wont happen.

you can use it in the dongle but you will be limited to the data on prepaid plan. Which from memory is about 100mb and then you can use your $30 funny money to buy more datapacks.

      • Why the -1 vote? Is this not possible?

        • I have a Telstra sim in an Elite modem. It is on the Cap Encore plan with 400mb of data and $250 of calls for 30 days plus other goodies. I transfer the $30 credit to other phones so only use the data and bonus calls/sms.

  • Appreciate that. Thanks.

    price match at officeworks :)

  • Might be a silly question, but

As I intend to use this purely for Google Play purchases, and I already have a Prepaid sim for this purpose.

Can this $30 credit be used to recharge an existing Prepaid service?

And can these be purchased and stockpiled for later use? (before the expiry date on the package?)

    Thanks in advance.

    • It cannot be used to recharge an existing service.

It can be activated and $29 of the credit transferred using CM2U. Head over to Whirlpool to have all your questions answered.

  • I bought one price beat at Doncaster Officeworks. I had to fill in the AMTA paperwork despite it not being a requirement anymore.
