    Huh?
TVs generally use IPS panels for wide viewing angle….

    • Really? I wasn't aware of that. I rarely see IPS listed in a TV spec sheet. Well not pre-2014 models anyway. Maybe its the normal now.

The only TN panel TV I have experienced is a 19" Kogan

        • Not sure how many TNs exist at 32" and above, but there are heaps in the smaller sizes. Last time I squatted in front of a row of smaller TVs at a store to compare vertical viewing angles, the TN panels revealed themselves en masse.

Nope… they use MVA or PVA as they perform better than IPS in terms of motion. They're all lcd technologies but ips isn't common in consumer tv's.

  • Was looking at this last night but can't find any reviews online. Anyone have any experience with this model?

    Still $100 too high

  • Any other TV in this size better in price?

  • First time i've heard of a TV having an IPS panel?. Is it a new thing for televisions?.

    • '+ Del'= plus Delivery (I think OP means that :)

      • Yes which is the reason why i edited my post after realising my mistake to make myself look slightly less embarrassing :D

As for IPS panel it must be a lot better than a standard LED backlight TV.

  • $15.95 for del

  • Can I use this as computer monitor?

    • Sure if your computer has a HDMI port. All modern TV's come with at least one HDMI port.

    • 50Hz though
