For what it's worth I tend to buy 'tactical gloves' from dealextreme. The last pair I bought at least a year ago and have survived DH riding and chainsawing pine trees, the latter being the nail in the coffin as the sharp bark tore them up pretty bad. They lasted much longer than I expected and had padding, reinforcing patches and grippy bits where it matters eg the pointer and middle finger for brake leavers.

The reason I choose tactical over ordinary gloves is they have a bit more protection over the knuckles for any rogue sticks or branches.

    eg http://www.dx.com/p/oumily-outdoor-tactical-full-finger-glov…

Or ordinary cycling gloves if you don't need the extra protection.

    • Whats your experience been like buying from deal extreme? Bit worried about buying from those too perfect looking sites.

Been great for the most part, made 10+ orders with them over the years (quite a bit of money when it's all added up). If you are asking if it's a trust worthy site then Yes it is. The only down side for these places (buying from China/Asia in general) is customer service is a bit average. DX in that regard I have found to be slightly better than others. Postage is slow, generally ~4 weeks.

Some of their products are hit and miss, usually some of the cables eg USB cables that just cannot carry enough power to charge a phone. Things like gloves are a pretty safe bet.

        • ok, thanks man.
