      Aye, +1

    • MSI is $245 there. HIS is same on $199.

P.S The prices have changed at Fluidtek. Both of them are now $185, how did you know the prices before hand?

    • Wrong. $185 for the 512MB edition. $204 from MSY for 1GB. PCCG is still the cheapest.

      • 4870 1gb his $185

        4870 1gb msi $185

        @ Fluidtek website

Fluidtek are walk in only… so why vote neg

  • other brands can be had at a similar price, but that wouldn't be comparing apples to apples.

id prefer a 4890 for 50 -60 bux more, but other than that.. .pretty ok price, not essentially the bargain of the century though.

  • Don't bother looking at the brand of video cards unless you want the special warranty or the bundle from the company.

I just buy the cheapest brand :)

    • well, theres more reasons than that like better heatsinks, faster ram, better fans etc for more overclockability. Another thing is will the card fit in your case? :)

      • Your absolutely right. In my opinion, if you're going to purchase a high-end card, you should be taking the different cooling methods into consideration. If you don't care about such a thing then why are you buying such a high-end card?

Anyway i heard XFX has a lifetime warranty, which is also worth looking into

        • -2

No such thing as high end cards , As they are all reference cards . The XFX in question is not a core edition

  • I'm soooo over the 4870s.
Sure they perform good, but when I play FPS games I don't need sound effects that belong in a Flight Simulator :P

    • Well I guess that makes this card good for Flight sim, you wont even need your speakers turned on ;)

      • 2 words, water cooled :D

only +150 more on top of the water cooling set up!

yeah ok maybe not for those who dont already have it :)

  • Great Deal
