Hi guys,
Just spotted this on Amazon. Great single radiator All-in-one cooling system for most current mainstream CPU sockets. Have been looking to pick one up for a while since my current case won't take a double-rad solution. Next cheapest on StaticIce is $129.00 before delivery charges. Hope some find this useful!

  • Not a bargain. Amazon has been selling this AiO wc system at these prices for a while now.

I keep them in my cart, to monitor their prices, along with a couple of Seasonic Gold PSU (got the 860W Platinum for $150).

Anyway, the H60i seems a better deal than the H80i right now: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00A0HZMGA?vs=1

    • Well they are different sized coolers, if you need greater cooling a H60i won't have the necessary capacity to cool, comapred to the H80i, according to Camelx3, the H80i has been bouncing around $75US for a while, not a large reduction in price, but a new model is not present yet, so i doubt it'll drop substantially anyway

    • So you're trying to compare the Corsair H60 to the H80. That isn't going to work not the same product.

  • Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but the cheapest shipping I can get ('9-12 days' to 6105) is $18.38, which brings it up to $98.94.

    • OP is speaking of USD for some reason. You are correct, USD89 = AU$98.

H100i is about $107 USD delivered as well.. (approx $117 AUD)… cheapest on Staticice is $146 or so…

  • i know i probably dont need one of these.. but h100i/h80i would be overkill for i7-3770 (non-k) since i am suriving on the stock intel fan right?

wonder anyone using these setups with i7-2600k as well..

    • No such thing as overkill. The more cooling capacity you have, the quieter you can run it.

      • though would the h100i's fan turn off if it doesn't require that much cooling? I am thinking of the h55 which is the smallest/most silent of the offerings.

You need some sort of airflow, there's nowhere near enough radiator area for an i7 to run passive.

Smaller would end up being louder as the fan would have to run faster to get the same amount of cooling capacity.

Pretty sure you can get air coolers that cool better and are quieter than this while being cheaper too.

      • i used to have a noctua u14s for my 2600k, but unfortunately it's a dust trap and doesn't leave much space left in my fractal design R2 case for anything else… thus was looking at reducing the amount of 'clutter' inside the case, especially i have been running on 2 cards for a while.

granted, when i first installed the noctua, it's really silent even on startup. my dvd drive was the nosiest one… in operation, it's just like having the sound of a gentle draft/breeze.

    • With a stock i7, you wouldn't need a H100i or even H80i. But you can always get that $67 H60i (H60 SE) from Amazon if you want your i7 to be cool and fancy.

I have a 1st Generation H60 on my Xeon E3-1245 V2,along with a Corsair SP120 set to 700 RPM (Get a Quiet Edition if you don't have any fan controller). Heaps of space in my Fractal Design Mini too.
The CPU is always running nice and cool, even during heavy workload.

      • Thanks for the tips.. I am running 2x R9s inside the FD-R2, so you can imagine the heat… thus I want to get more room for airflow.
