Nope. Beer past its expiration date is perfectly fine, apart from not tasting as good. Unfortunately drinking too much beer in general is bad for your health though.

I'm usually one to defend cheaper beers on here. You always get that guy who think the only beer that should ever touch someone's lips is the $160/carton beer they saw on a beer review site and tried that one time.
I like many cheaper beers. Oettinger is a lot better than people give it credit for. Hollandia isn't too bad either. The local cheapies like VB and Emu Export are OK too. Bintang, Tiger and Bali-Hai are decent enough beers. I'm not a fan of the lighter Mexican beers like Sol but I don't mind them.
Chang is one of the few beers I'd actually turn back, even on a hot day when there was no other option.
But hey, good price and it'll get you pissed. Get in.

With expiry in August less than 6 weeks away, the beer would have gone off a bit, less flavour and less gas. Not too good with taste. 1 or 2 bottles is fine, but a case would be too much. I think the weird to describe is 'stale'
