  • Any bargains ?

  • When compared with PC Case Gear, prices within +/- a few dollars in most cases.

    • Hi Lodan, Yes we are similar to them but at the moment we are offering free shipping and we also don't charge any PayPal fees so the savings can be significant :)
For instance keyboards, because of their box size, can cost around $20-$30 to ship if you live on the other side of the country.
At the moment I have a lot of stock that I want to move. Especially headsets, mice and mouse-pads.

      cheers

well, why don't you offer some real bargains then. this is ozBARGAIN, not ozQUITE-COMPETITIVE-AMONGST-OTHER-AUSTRALIAN-ONLINE-STORES…

FYI, every item i looked up, i can buy cheaper at CPL in melbourne. free shipping: ok sure, that's good for people who can't get to a local store, but for everyone else there isn't really any deal here.

edit: i mean no offence…i just think if you're going to try to advertise your store oon ozbargain, you have to bring better deals than free shipping and manufacturer upgrades…

  • This is garbage.
Free shipping is not a bargain.
They are just trying to advertise their business

    • Hi caprimulgus & yoyomablue,
      Thanks for your posts.
Yeah I'm new to OzBargain so I appreciate your feedback, I especially appreciate your "edit" caprimulgas…thanks.

At first I thought people would like this as shipping can add a significant percentage to the overall cost. Last night I received a few orders because of this post that were low priced mousepads. If you live interstate and it costs $10-$11 to courier a $13 mousepad then a customer wouldn't bother, but now it's worthwhile with free shipping. Last week I sold 2 x $100 keyboards to WA and they cost $31(Perth)and $34(Bunbury) to ship from Sydney. So those customers would of saved about 30%.

I do have a lot of excess Razer headsets and mice plus some excess Logitech keyboards and I hope to add them on OzBargain too down the track.
Going from your posts and advice I think I will just offer great prices that aren't matched by anyone else selling online.

Again, thanks for your help and advice.

      cheers

PS. If you were checking out OzBargain's computer deals then you may be after something in particular. Is there something that I can help you with? Offer you something extra like a bigger price reduction on a product maybe.

      • +1

Hey, sorry if my previous post was abrupt/aggressive. You seem like a good rep, and have taken it constructively (as it was intended), so kudos to you.

i don't have anything in particular I'm looking for, which is kinda the thing about ozbargain: it's mostly impulse buying of stuff we don't know we need until we see a good deal! :)

i guess I'm kinda thinking about a mechanical gaming keyboard like a G710+, or a cheap mousepad (but i was probably just going to get a QCK). But yeah, it's more just the scoping for bargains thing! (FYI, i have purchased 3 gaming mice in the last 2 weeks, just because they were good deals!) :)

anyway, welcome to ozbargain, and i look forward to scoping out any future deals you post!

        • Hi caprimulgus,
Thanks for the reply, I'm glad you did. I guess at first I just need to iron out the best way of doing the deals.

I've got a Razer Blackwidow Battlefield 4 mechanical keyboard that I was about to put up on OzBargain. I can offer you one for $110 + Shipping. Other resellers have them for just over $150 each + shipping.
I also have 1 x QcK+ Mousepad in stock. It's big (450mm x 400mm). I haven't made a product page for it yet but I could offer it to you for $10 + Shipping. It seems to be around $22 + shipping on other stores.
Anyway, let me know if any of these products interest you?

          cheers
          Kris

"Available quantity for this product is not sufficient"

    Doh!

I was looking to replace my decade-old Steelseries QcK++, guess that'll need to wait :(

    • Hi Coastal0,
I just had a look at the link and yes I had the same issue.
I have deleted the customise options and put them back in again and it seems to be working again.

If you try the order again I will send you my last Roccat cap to you as well :)
      Sorry for the hassle earlier.

      Cheers
      Kris

  • Last night I sold my last 3mm Mini and Mid Taito mouse-pads.
I have put an order in to the Roccat distributor but they are out of stock also.
I will keep you informed of when we expect to have them again.
    cheers
    Kris

    • Update on ETA of Roccat Taito MousePad.

3mm Mini will be back in stock at end of August.
3mm Mid will be back in stock 29th July.

      Cheers
      Kris
