Purchased thanks. At that price I'm willing to give this ago. Once I'm over it I'll give it to the kids, along with all the other LED torches and stuff I purchase via OB :)

You can never have enough LED torches!

  • Thanks OP! Reading the reviews on Amazon, lots of users say that the D pad is unresponsive and has to be pushed to the extreme to make your character in Bastion move, for example. Anyone has one and might be able to share their experience with this controller? Would love to get one for Prince of Persia: Shadow and the Flame.

Not sure that I have PoP but I definitely have Bastion. Once I can pick it up, I'll test this for you and report back.

    • Finally got it today and I can report no problems with mine in Bastion. I would have thought that if you had a problem in one game the problem would also exist in all other games. So far so good.

Much better price for this device, I'd get one to try it out, but the next iPhone will have different dimensions so it would be a waste to get this device now.

Lol by that logic no Android would ever get a case for their ever changing phones!

  • Purchased it..Nice Found OP.

  • Lots of these at MacArthur Central Brisbane

  • that Ms Pacman image is quite disturbing

  • Wonder if there is a copyright reason why they don't just make the buttons the same colours as a 360 controller.

    • Nintendo used the same four colours in a different combination again back in the day. I wouldn't have thought the key colours would be something that could be patented, but who knows.

Cadbury Purple begs to differ :-).

PS. Everybody go watch 'The Corporation'

        :-(

  • just got one adelaide st brisbane- about 10 on stand up the stairs.

had a little juice in it, tried pacman.. not uber responsive.. but i rationalised it as, i was going to buy a battery backup.. and this is a legit brand that hopefully wont explode and kill me. so whatevs.

        shoot i thought i was being original… :( ….

  • Sounds like a faulty unit that needs to be cleared out, just wait for the updated version for the next controller, unless your not to fussed about certain games.

For the price you cant really conplain. Remember these are really old outdated units, there are many more others in different forms and sizes.

I imagine an iPhone 6 announcement in the next few months is also a reason for them to want to clear out stock now. It's possible they won't be selling phones that actually fit this in a few months from now depending on whether Apple keeps the 5S around or opts to keep the 5C as the lower end model moving forward.

  • Thanks, bought one for use with MHFU ios.

  • I don't have an iPhone, but this looks cool.

If you have a Jailbroken iDevice and a spare PS3 or PS4 you can install the JB app called ControllersForAll and use the PS controller instead. Much better IMHO.

  • I saw that at JBHiFi Broadway, Sydney last Wednesday for $49.

I'm very tempted at this new price.

    EDIT: just bought one. Thanks!

  • Wow! This is cheaper than knockoffs you get from ebay. I wonder if there is a way to use older gen iPhones (namely iPhone 4)?

  • sick - new atari lynx!

  • For that price its worth it for the fact that its an external battery.

  • Picked one up today, seems like a pretty cool gadget. For $29 I can justify it for the battery backup alone, with the controller as a bonus!

  • yeah i'll be grabbing one - thanks OP, this is awesome!

  • Oh…I went to the JB Hi Fi website it 79.95 now T_T missed it hope it will coming back again!

  • Back to $29.
