  Ended up ordering the MBA 11" base through the app, for $854.10, 2014 model. Got the "error" like everyone else, nothing on the app shows the order has gone through and no email confirmation received. Money has been charged against the credit card though. Fingers crossed.

  Spoke to Dick Smith - they are aware of the app problem and will be refunding repeated bank charges over the coming days

  I ordered a Mac mini yesterday ($586.60 incl shipping - around 23% off RRP) using the iOS app and got the "error: accepted" message. After reading this was happening to others and that charges were being applied to credit cards I decided to leave it alone and see what happens.

  Just got an order confirmation email now (24 hours after order) so maybe it's possible this will work after all!

  I dont know why the app ended up charging you guys, cause for me it just kept telling me to check the new prices after discount. Couldnt even submit an order - therefore i decided to just purchase through the website. So troublesome.

  Finally relented and called DS about the multiple charges. They are apparently emailing head office to cancel 2 of the 3 orders. She suggested about 3-5 days to rectify as the charges now seem to have fully gone through from a bank perspective (ie: not just a hold anymore). Fingers crossed I get one out of the three I ordered :)

  They still intend to supply what you ordered and will supply confirmation order numbers and refund reference numbers
