  • Anyone recommend this one vs others? Just want something reliable & user friendly…definitely seems the cheapest of HD STB as far…

Can't find any reviews via google…

    • The price is good, but be warned - I bought an omni DVD player & have had some problems, omni seem to have disappeared off the planet - their website is not helpful & the website given in the box is a dead link (for $50 for the DVD player I haven't worried - but not a good sign). Maybe this is why top buy is only offering a very limited & in-house warranty.

I did buy an Olin HD set top box a few months back, similar price to this one & haven't had troubles with it, came with a 12 month warranty which gives it a +ve over the omni but still suspect that sometimes you get what you pay for.

      • Thanks. Will spend the extra bucks & get one from local Good Guys…

And you can use the $4.95 shipping cap deal to save on postage.
