Try youtube for good tutorials on most things.
      This kit is suitable for:
      - changing batteries (providing you don't want to test water proof-ness
      - changing watch bands
      - shortening metal bracelet watch bands
      - adjusting spring tension on manual watches (to make it run faster/slower)

You really only need the watch back remover (about $6 on its own) if you have some fine stainless screwdrivers, probes already. The blue thing for adjusting watch bracelets isn't really necessary, nor it the little holder platform thing. But they are nice to have.

  • If only you posted this sooner then the this deal:

    but thanks.

  • Does this have the tools to close the case on watches that require a 'press-down'? Not a screw.

I have this opened watch for at least a year :| I don't want to go to a watch repairmen to pay them to close it up

    • You dont need a tool to close it

      • tell me more, because i've used my foot and put all my weight down and it still wont close

        • just use a hammer

        • Put your watch face down on microfibre cloth.
Use a rubber mallet of appropriate size and gently tap it in.
Dont force it in. You might damage the front if you hit too hard. If its a mechanical watch then you will mess up the internals so be gentle.

    • Rubber mallet :p

Timex watches are the hardest ones to put back. I have to use rubber mullet and a piece of wood.

I have to use rubber mullet

      Lol, which one?
