can't believe the server crash just because a few people clicking on it…

    • Few hundred more like it.

  • They are hosted on ventraip.com.au - note to self, don't get a shared account on ventraip.

    • +3

Just on this topic - and I am NOT affiliated with them - VentraIP is actually one of the better hosting companies. Also - the website is responding with a resource allocation issue error message, which it looks like it did protect other customers on the same server.

      • Okay, I stand corrected. I could see they might see the sudden change as an attack situation.

seems they are in real trouble

  • Sorry guys, we are already on it. Will update once we know.

Looks like your website closed down before your store did. ;)

Maybe they went out for a byte ;)

Even at half price with free shipping these covers are still 2-3 times more expensive than from Australian sellers on eBay.

Sorry that you feel this way, our products are all located in Australia, will arrive to you in 3 - 5 business days and they are of good quality.

      Mostly imported from Australian distributors.

Feelings have nothing to do with it. Pick any product from your inventory and go search for it on eBay. The results speak for themselves.

I'm sorry you are going out of business, but I'm sure if you take a moment to think about why it came to this then you will probably come to the same conclusion as I did. Everything is just too expensive.

In Brick and Mortar this pricing is about the norm, but you can't expect to compete online with these prices. Not when eBay is so wildly popular and is the first place most look when shopping for these types of items.

Something to consider with your next project. Best of luck :)

Also, a shop that sells nothing but iPhone accessories is bound to fail in the long term. You're competing with international businesses who sell exactly the same stuff. Your sales volume isn't high enough to cover your fixed costs, plus your profit margin is also fairly small per item.

No wonder they are closing down, they barely sell anything!

  • +2

Nothing is cheap, wheres the real bargains?

  • Can't get onto the site. Don't even know what they sell since the rep didn't say.

  • +4

Site will become more stable as our host is fixing it atm. They are calling it an "attack" on the server which we find quite funny :)

  • NOW i understand why so many online shops are closing: WANTING TOO MUCH PROFIT

    • Hmm.. don't really understand how you came to this conclusion..

    Resource Limit Is Reached

yes, your selling resource limits have been reached as in terminated, end of the line for you!

  • Iphone 5 - Apple USB to Lightning Cables $4.98 each best deal I can find!

Only accepting Paypal though - also no HTC One M8 Otterbox love :(

    • I highly doubt that they are genuine MFi cables (or else they would want to mention that fact prominently) so they are not really worth $10 or even $5 each…

  • Anyone know what the quality of the lighting cables is? Am I going to be getting anything better than for example this one at $1.29 http://au.cellphoneshop.net/5lightning.html?CAWELAID=5300098…

  • I have logged in but I do not see anything that is 50% off. There is the odd bargain here and there but nothing to indicate a storewide 50% off sale. Was the old site loaded up or something?

    • use the discount code!
Also any know if those lightning cables are apple ones?

    • Well the OP did say "We are letting OzBargain-ers get in the sale first before we make it public", so it's not announced publicly on the site yet? I'm guessing the 50% off will be applied when you enter the code upon checkout.

  • @ibyterep Are the lightning cables genuine?

  • Big W will have genuine Apple lightning cables on sale tomorrow for $18 save $6. Catalogue doesn't say the length but would assume standard.
