Great, thanks! I got two last time and wanted enough for each day, they are a great fit and do the job nicely.

    • Could you advise if they are unisex? Thanks.

      • +2

        The polypro ones are unisex.

polypros are very basic. would never buy them for 30. the active ones are much better and feel nicer. they're good enough for daily use but wouldn't recommend doing any sort of exercise with them. smells dont always wash out of these materials

  • +2

As above, these are synthetic, so are single use only as they will begin to smell. Also will need to dry them quickly after you wash them or they will start to smell.

$10 is the most you should normally pay for polypro. Merino wool and other natural fibre ones do not have these issues and would be good to see a deal on them.

They're hardly single use at all. I've had the same pairs for the last few years and yes they do gather a scent if you don't wash them after wearing them for a few days. But the smell is not even that strong.

From my experience with them I'd happily pay $15 for them. Maybe even $20 (would be pushing it though).

Yea I prefer Icebreaker. Expensive, but you can wear this stuff for weeks without any smell.

Love these. I bought the stripey tops and bottoms to wear as pyjamas!

Great for under your clothes when going to cold climates also. Tassie, Great Ocean Road, Thredbo and NZ.

  • When's the sale end?

  • +1

Ends 31st July, 2014. Same price as when it was on sale last year.

They still have some stock at Pitt Street Mid City.

  • Anyone tried Uniqlo heatech long john? Any smell issues compare to Polypro?

    • I have had the same pair of heatech top and bottom from 2008 when living in Japan. Still going strong and haven't aged or smell. If they are still the same manufacturer then I wholly recommend them. As with most of these synthetics they tend to dry your skin out.
