Reckon this is coming too close to the mac mini, yeah it's 4 gigs more ram but the Mac mini processor looks better.

  • This H model can take a 2.5" hdd and a msata sdd, so the mwave deal on msata could be added to this.

Also note it doesn't come with a wifi card, only the antennas, so you'll need to buy one or have a usb wifi dongle if you want wifi.

  • I'm curious, how do you setup multiple monitors with this? Does it come with the Mini DisplayPort to DVI/VGA adapter?

Supports up to 3 monitors. Doesn't come with any adapters, so you'll need an adapter to change from mini-hdmi or mini-dp to connect to a monitor

      • I'm still confused, but I hope I will find a guide soon.

Every guide I've looked at on youtube is telling me that I need two graphics ports, one for DVI and one for VGA. ;-(

I think you would need two DisplayPort ports as well in the case of the NUC… This person's graphics card has two of those mini displayports.

I think I'll do some more research before taking the jump. I'm not sure how daisy chaining works…

The NUC has a mini-hdmi out and a mini-display port out. Plug a monitor into each with the relevant cable/adapter.

Daisy chaining is only needed for connecting 3 monitors.

Oh wow I was going to buy one and thought why would you make someone use bank transfer. Then I read this. http://www.productreview.com.au/p/computer-parts-land.html

I can't help wondering if its so that if there are problems with the order you can't charge back :(

    • Not to defend CPL or anything but i had always take these product review online site with a grain of salt.

You will most likely only see negative review there, when something go wrong people will always be sure to complain, but when it go smoothly not many people will spare the time to give positive feed back.

I used many company that have ridiculously bad review in the past and their service turn out to be great.

I am very skeptical about any review site that the majority of their reviewer only have 1 review under their name. It's well open to any sockpuppeting or smear campaign. Certain company might even pay the review site to have good rating.

Having said that i still wouldn't buy anything on the internet that ask you to do bank transfer, it's either Paypal or Credit Card or no deal.

But that's exactly what you do want to read about.

How does the business handle these issues that aren't going right…

There are also some that have posted other reviews too, but still gave CPL 1 / 5

        • Usually I read the content of the negative reviews and look at known stores to see what sort of feedback they get back. For example shopping express gets a much better rap on that site.

I do agree its always careful reading as positive reviews are often written by the store themselves and extremely negative reviews are often written by people with grudges.

    No PayPal no deal

    • Id say Paypal or Credit.
I don't mind a fee on really low priced stuff to cover their costs.

    • Payment method nota reason to neg!

  • I'm still waiting for my order to be posted from the N2820 deal last week.

Apparently my order appeared as a store pick up even though I had paid for shipping "oh sorry"

I must be part of the 5% that doesn't have orders shipped out the next day

Hopefully for those that order, the same mistake isn't made.

    • eek that was along the lines of some of the complaints on the review site above.
