Over the last 10 years, we have received in excess of 45 tonnes of donated books, and the collection continues to grow. Books are sorted and cleaned, then sold through the Brotherhood Books website and delivered to your doorstep. However if you love to browse the shelves, our books are also available in the Brotherhood Community Stores around Victoria.

Apart from keeping real books alive, Brotherhood Books, reinvests 100% of the profits towards the Brotherhood of St Laurence’s work in helping disadvantaged people build better lives."

All their books are second-hand, if you are looking for something unusual or out of print you may find it here.

Shipping is via courier and costs $6 for one or 2 books. Free if you order 3 or more.

    Being a second-hand outlet, there is generally only one copy of each book.

    Probably no bargains that all OzBargainers would want a copy of, but if your after a 1957 First Folio Edition of H G Wells The History of Mr Polly in good condtion http://www.brotherhoodbooks.org.au/books/the-history-of-mr-p… $22.50 might be a good price???

    Or may be a book on ultralight propulsion http://www.brotherhoodbooks.org.au/books/ultralight-propulsi… for $4.50

    It's pretty subjective really.
