  • http://www.cnet.com/au/products/philips-citiscape-collection… .. very interesting … I might pick up one … maybe ! Anyone with experience this headphone , is it good ?

    • The CitiScape Shibuya ones is listed for $128 at DSE.

They were given out as replacements for the $8 Pioneer ones that was on sale a month ago. Its really only worth around the $10 to $20 mark.

If the the Downtown ones are similar to Shibuya.. definitely not worth anywhere near $50

    • I have one of these that I bought on a Harvey Norman deal that went around December for $24 dollars as far as I can remember. It looks very good and it is quite comfortable.

The noise isolation is good, though I am not the biggest fan of its sound. I find it not to be as loud as I would like, even with noise isolation. I've got a cheaper Philips (don't have it with me now to say the model) which I believe it sounds better, but doesn't isolate.

If I lost my CitiScape and needed to buy it again, wouldn't pay $48 on a new one.

Found the previous deal I bought it for $22:

      • Are you talking about you got the Shibuya ones or the downtown ones? The ones in the link you posted are Shibuya

    • I had a pair in Canada a few years back and really enjoyed them. They are a big step up from the Shibuya ones despite the small change in price. The main thing for me is that they're ridiculously comfortable. The memory foam stuff really works well.

Depends what you listen to of course, but they weren't really bass heavy although they weren't great with the highs either, good in the midrange. The uptown version had much better sound (IMO).

On the comfort again though, I wound up buying these over the uptowns (which were only $10 more and had better sound) solely due to the comfort. And after leaving those in Canada I'll be picking up another pair from DSE in this sale, well worth it in my mind.

  • Do you have to pre order Destiny online and wait for delivery? Can it be done for pickup in store? Also is it only for next gen?

What's everyone doing with Destiny, the games ridiculously expensive everywhere.

    • As far as I'm aware it's an in store deal that one.

  • +1

A toshiba I was looking at about 3 weeks ago was $1039 on sale, a week later it was marked Clearance at $1499.( $100 more than what the sales guy said it was before the $1039) I wonder what price it will be tomorrow.

    • Look in the catalogue man in link, some are in that

      • Thanks, checked it out but they are more expensive with less specs.
