these jokers charged me 100+ extra for nothing (single income, just the usual deductions) - I took the same stuff to 2 other accounting firms (one is a friend) to ask and there is no need to.
i even prepared and documented the receipts..etc in advance for them.
Good luck with this 'deal' if you are taking it up. Going to a local accounting firm and bargain that $20 instead would be much better.
etax is hard if your tax needs are a bit more "complicated"…
H&R Block complicated my tax needs even more than I ever managed to do with etax.
My local H&R Block doesn't take AMEX.
Please take my advice… Do yourself a favour and find a good independent accountant/tax agent firm. From my experience H&R Block are great for your average "I have one income source, no deductions, and am only doing it because it's the law" type of returns!!! They seem to be full of very run of the mill people who are either fresh to the industry or have been there that long that they no longer care and just want a paycheck!!!
Ps. You'll probably lose more than the $20 in your return through lack of knowledge on deductions, etc!
On the other hand, etax is not that hard to do as well.
So why do you think it is a deal?
