    I got HMA for 2 years now NEVER had any problems with them.

  Are they any better than in 2011? Last month it became apparent that not all VPN providers live up to their marketing after an alleged member of Lulzsec was tracked down after using a supposedly anonymous service from HideMyAss.

    HMA work fine as a VPN provider.
    Just don't use it if you're doing anything semi-suspect as they do keep logs.

    If your using a vpn to keep your internet "activities" Private, hideMyAss is probably not the way go, particularly if your into hiding from the us government or copyright infringement over the Internet.

    It is also flaky for hulu/netflix Access as these companies have banned hidemyass vpn access to their services in the past. A lot of people who google "vpn" not knowing what they need, get hooked by the advertising, but the privacy and features are poor compared to other providers out there.

        Depends what you want to do with your VPN.

        IMO, the best VPN by far is PIA. Cheap and effective.

        Also, if your into p2p check out the sock5 feature and then use ipleak.net. If you want to stay super anonymous, check out the bitcoin payment feature.

        CyberGhost works OK for me. Tried PIA for a month but did not like the P2P when using it.
