OK so not such a permanently free. But i don't think nearly 5 months is a limited time. This game is free every day for nearly 5 months.

How to buy it while it is free without downloading it?
Click the green "Play" button next to the game then "Cancel" on the next screen where it asks you to confirm the download stuff.
