I have a pair of these and they are very good. I paid $90 at jbhifi so this is a good price.

    • The only thing that matters to me is sound quality - how are these? The problem I've found with most buds is that they either too bass-heavy or too much of treble, all with recessed mids.

Does this have a more balanced sound? Are the mids clear? Thanks! :D
      I'm expecting ATH-M50s performance lol

      • Never owned a ATHM50s myself but these earphones are VERY good. I own a mirrion earphones and these probably are one of my favs.

      • I'm expecting ATH-M50s performance lol

ATH-M50 are usually ~$150 when it's having a sale. I think you might have expected too much :)

      • I have owned these for a few years and they just broke down after a fair bit abuse (from being used as gym phones). You've hit the nail on the head, the bass and trebles are pretty good but the mids are a bit recessed, not as bad as some others and for the price I would have gotten them again if they weren't sold out.

  • Damn good price!

  • Fantastic price.
Just spoke to Hampton store and its on online only special.
Would've been easier for me to pick up at Hampton store rather than wait for them.
Be quick as they only have less than 50 available.

  • I thought I was doing well paying ~$65 at Amazon a few years back, but this is even better and local to boot!

  • Bought, thanks OP!

  • bought as well

  • Nice, i was looking at these a while ago and wanted to try them out, so i snagged a pair now. Cheers rep.

  • Bought. Thanks OP!

  • We are down to 15 pairs!

    • Rep, just want to confirm, these are the 1st generation?

  • I don't need this. But I want to buy it sooooo badly :L

Great headphones, they are the most comfortable in-ear headphones I've ever used. There is a bit of cable noise when you move about, but the sound isolation makes up for it.

  • 5 left people!

  • Damn - by the time I created my account, it was all gone…

    • Same!

Was $49 in my basket, but by the time I made the account it had changed to $149

  • no doubt - great price. If you missed it, I would recommend to try these out:

    http://www.exeltek.com.au/yamaha-eph-100-in-ear-headphones-e…

Twice the price, but twice the quality too (I own both, didn't touch Klipsch since bought Yamaha…)

  • Best headphones except the AWFUL build quality, they will break within a year. Between me and a mate gone through 8 pairs in 2 years.

i've had the standard S4 for just over 2 years, no problems so far.

    • You might be like me, it seems no matter how well i take care of mine, i'm lucky to get 12 months out of a pair. I use earphones many times a day though.

  • amazing price,great share

These are FANTASTIC headphones for this price. My first pair lasted approximately 19 months before Kilpsch replaced them under their 2 year warranty. I use these headphones over 20+ hours a week which includes commute to and from work, use it at work to make/receive phone calls and gym 3-4 days a week.

    Why I love these headphones:

    1. Great bang for buck
    2. Good base and treble
    3. Incredibly comfortable to wear and you don't realise that you have them on.

Although the sound is solid with the supplied ear tips (medium tips fit my ears fine), I invested in Comply ear tips which really helps with the noise cancelling and enhances the sound (deeper base mainly).

    Only negative:
For this price point, its a GREAT headphone but as some have pointed out, build quality (NOT sound quality) is not crash hot.

    • How's the sound isolation with this pair?

  • one of my favourite earphones before i lost them on the train…. bought from COTD for $55. best value earphones, check out this review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkOC0gbNF20 @4:50. i now have jaybird blubuds x, also recommended by mkbhd :D

For anyone else interested, these regularly come up on Woot.com for ~$25. Woot only ships to the US though so you'll have to use a freight forwarder (which would only cost $2-$3 for an item this size).

  • Anyone got theirs? Site says delivery in 2-3 days for East/Central Aus.

    • Haven't got my pair yet either.

      • Just received mine today. Delivered to NSW location.

    • Still waiting here too.

    • Yep, just got mine.
