I've been looking for a decent set of affordable bookshelf speakers. These speakers are very highly regarded for their price. The usual price is US$129.99, but today Amazon has them for US$59.90. The Amazon rating is 4.7/5. Even with the AUD$75.95 delivery it is significantly cheaper than local prices. Video Pro has $199 delivered. Pioneer have kindly added their "Australia tax" for our market. Cheaper of course with a 28 degrees card.

    With all respect to Andrew jones, his "design" looks somewhat derivative of every other speaker I have ever seen.

          Wow, that was good. I've never seen anyone talk about speakers in such plain English.
          Almost devoid of techno-babble, he really seems to understand what he is saying. Though I think he sounded slightly embarrassed when they made hime say "gold plated terminals" :-)

    The entire series is half price.
    2x2x1 setup is $678US delivered (the shipping alone costs more than the speakers)

    The subwoofer is a bit heavier, probably getter off getting something local anyway.

      I think you might have two in your cart - items 2. I just went though the checkout and got AUD 143.07 to Gold Coast with Amazon currency converter.
