    • Not on Amexconnect for me?

      • -1

Same here, must be targeted offer

    • How do I register my card? Can't find it on Dan Murphy site

  • +2

You should be able to order online and use Click & Collect to pick up.

    • +5

      Or just use DMWEL0814

      • What's the code for? Doesn't work for me

      • +1

I think that's for wine only.

  • +1

Yep was there for me too (unlike the deal yesterday)

    Cheers kbk

    @jasonc74

You should be able to order online and use Click & Collect to pick up.

Will be doing that for sure…

    • Logged into my Amex account and looks like the Credit will arrive overnight (says redeemed with card already:)

  • +1

Assuming this is DIRECT amex issued cards?

I've got the ANZ one from the previous deal, unable to sign up qq.

Starting to debate whether I should get a direct amex card or not…

    • same here… my bank issued card not recognised on this site.

      • +2

Amex QAN Discovery card the way to go.
7500 points on joining (worth around $75.00),NO fee ever, one for one points and access to most of the deals.
        A no brainer.

        • +2

5000 points, then 2500 once you spend on Qantas flights.

        • I have one of these cards and I can't see this offer (and regularly don't get others too)!

        • Good to know, thanks.

        • ANZ Amex is better - 3 points per $ spent - I get back over $1500 a year in cash (yes redeemable for cash!)

        • @jakeau:

I think it said had to be done within 6 months or something for qantas 2500 points, I done 2 years later and was still given points…

  • Sweet, didn't realise my BMW gold Amex could do these deals. Logged in and there it was…. Free $20!!!

    • I have one of these cards and I have no offers showing.. ?? :(

      • That's weird, wonder why mine does. I've activated and will see if it works.

  • +1

Hmmm… what to buy, what to buy!

    • +20

      Alcohol

  • Nice, thanks!

  • +5

For those in the market for some whisky, it could be worth watching and waiting until the end of the month. The whisky tasting events at DM's often yield a $10 discount code that can be shared around.

  • Does anyone know if this card (Qantas American Express Discovery Card) would receive the non-bank amex deals?

    Cheers

    • +1

      yes…see above

    • Yes, as does the $0 fee Velocity card.

  • +3

Awesome! Now I can buy two Tapking kegs to go with the free dispense(s) I got last month!

    • +1

Annie's Lane are a pretty god deal at 10.50 at the moment. Kaiken Malbec (argentina) is another great value for money at under $11.

      • thx bro, i'll gib them a try

  • -1

Assume this wont work on my NAB Amex card? Cant seem to register :(

  • I've got a David Jones Amex but when I log in I don't see all the deals. Only ones that come up for me are Amart and H&R block. Anyone know why?

    • nobody seems to know the answer, some cards only show some deals.
my amex issued gold card only shows DJ & DM

    • one thing for sure, a direct issued Amex card will have all the best offers.

any affiliated with banks will probably not be as good.

    • I have no offers at all on my DJ Amex.

  • So this deal definitely works with click & collect orders?

    • yes, it will.

  • I have a new amex card after switching banks,

    how do i register this?

  • Nice find.

Just orded a click and collect japanese whiskey - always been a bit too pricey for me but $20 off makes it's not too much more than a decent scotch whiskey.

    CAMPAI :)

  • great! only ting left to do is buy more fifty lashes to use on my free tap king from a couple weeks back :D

  • Anyone know the offer number? It should look something like this:

    https://www.amexconnect.com.au/Offers/1038

  • Hi all, does anyone have a direct link to the offer? I have an American Express issued card however I can't find it when I am logged in.

    Thanks,

    Paul

  • +1

Thanks Op, thought I'd try the 12yo Glenfarclas - delivery offer $69.95 + $7 delivery ($99 for click and collect)

  • Does anyone have the direct link to the Amex offer?

  • Would anyone happen to know if it would qualify if you paid via PayPal on your AMEX? I didn't want to gamble so just used the credit card, just thinking for future AMEX offers.

Everyone asking for a link, I believe it's luck of the draw? Plenty of time offers have been unavailable for me that have been posted on OzBargain, dependent on your flavour of AMEX.

    • +2

Think I read in T&Cs that cannot be redeemed through third parties (guessing PP included).

  • +2

Yes, tried it before, paypal excluded.

  • Cheers OP - got two 150 lashes Tap King kegs for $30 :)

  • What's the best deal for an AMEX card itself?

Are there things I should look out for?

I plan to pay before each bill comes so rate doesn't matter.

I have access to platinum edge cards @ $50 less if that's any good.

  • I have a Velocity card but I don't see this offer. Any ideas?

    • I have an Amex issued Velocity card too, but none of these offers either :(

  • Miss this deal….now found some cheap bottled water I need with free delivery but did not register

  • I received an email from AMEX informing about the deal but in my offers area of the same card..the deal is not available. Have to call AMEX to find out.

  • Only 1 day left to order something. I'd almost forgotten

  • Have the old offer from previous month, expires tomorrow. Just get a $50 gift card from DM I suppose.

Edit: damn it's same offer and excludes gift cards. Have to ask mates what they want to get as I don't drink much.

I thought this was a new offer and AE is just trying to get us all drunk so we spend more money on their card.
