This will only interest very few but Cebu Pacific have 1 peso flights between Manila and Kalibo. Kalibo is one of the main airports if you're going to Boracay. Just thought I would post as I know a lot took advantage of the cheap return flights to Manila. Worked out 1382.04 ($34) pesos for me return in November. Travel times are September 15 - 31 December 2014. Similar flights on Zest and PhillAir were about 2300 pesos ($56).
Please note, as mentioned below, Kalibo is about a two hour bus ride to Boracay. It's about 350 - 500 pesos($9-$13)each way.

    It‘s worth noting that if you are en route to Boracay, it's a two hour bus ride from Kalibo.

      Thanks for the heads up. From what I read the quickest option is flying into Caticlan which tends to be more expensive (around 3500 pesos on Cebu) . I heard they have specials though so might be worth waiting for some.

        I always fly cebu Pacific there and then another carrier back.. for some reason cebu's return flights are always more than the others..

        You can get the flight there for around 2200php (~$55)

        100x better flying directly via Caticlan unless on a very strict budget

    Boracay is over rated imo things are more expensive there than the rest of the philippines and the beach dont compare to say gold coast. Once was enough for me.
