(SOLD OUT) Microsoft Explorer Mini Mouse - $14.99 + Shipping @ Centrecom

240

Just spotted this on Centrecom's website, normally $68.20 (according to listed price). However, cheapest on SI is $29.

Not sure about the quality or functionality as I've never used one before, but looks decent for $15 + shipping.

    What a ridiculous shipping price…

  • Good deal if you buy in bulk (and not living in perth :P)

Got 3, so comes at $20 delivered, each.

Nice price considering places like MSY sell for $55 and you have to pick it up!

  • Does centrecom have the same price online, as well as pickup? I thought they differed.

    • yeah I thought their pickup prices were higher - thats why I hardly shop there anymore because their instore priclist is the pdf one which only lists a few items.

Plus can someone confirm this price - historically centrecom have had pricing errors before and not honored them.

      • we'll c , i paid via bank deposit already…

gonna chuck a fit if they say it's pricing error lol!

    • Whenever I've been in to the Hawthorn shop, they've always gone by the online website price (or even cheaper).

    • I've picked up two items from their Bundoora store that were in the newsletters and the price was the same as online.

    good reviews here

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHfwMHYyNYg

guy said he bought for $60 usd and another guy recently said he bought for 40 usd :)

the good thing is that it's different to laser/optical mouses as it uses some other technology and works really good on all surfaces.

I just put an order in, and with credit card, you have to fax them:
    1. Your credit card statement
    2. The back of your credit card
and 3. A note confirming that you want them to charge your credit card, and with your signature at the end of it.

I'm trying to get them to cancel it at the moment, as it's probably easier to drive there instead of trying to get access to a fax and non-securely fax them all the bleeding details of my credit card, with my full signature!

  • Guess what??? Shipping to WA $40 haha…

  • Shipping to SA is $18, unfortunately the only way I could find that out was by registering as a buyer…

I bought 3 of them shipping to NSW - $62.97
    So around 20 bucks each,
    what a bargain :)

    • I buy one off you!

  • Good post. I ordered 5 paid by direct deposit. $18 ship to Brisbane. Lets see if they go thru.

  • Thats cheap, I saw it at Dick Smith in Auckland Downtown had this on sale on their opening day last week for $16.

  • had 5 in my cart last night, completed the checkout this morning via direct deposit.
just checked the website just then and it is no longer available

    fingers crossed.

  • SOLD OUT

    • Yup I managed to sneak my order through.

I added it to cart, went back to the page and refreshed it and it was gone.

Luckily my cart order went through. Now hoping they process it

  • Hopefully they honour this.

Though I'm not too confident about centrecom

my friend emailed them last night and they replied this morning, and confirmed it was the correct pricing. so i think we've got a fairly good chance of receiving these goods.

i bought a graphics card from them last time for wat i thought was pretty cheap at the time. i bought it for 285 and the next day it went to 480 which was the market price at the time. they still went through with the deal.

  • got email saying my order for 5 by direct deposit has been rec'd and now processing. so thats a good sign

  • got an email saying my order of 2 to nsw is dispatched. yayyy

  • Mine is still processing, I ordered 4 of them

If you look at the front page it mentions about this deal being sold out. I think they will honour the price. However it seems as if they may not be able to serve everybody.

Hopefully they haven't sold as much as they stock

  • ordered it on monday night, got it this morning, using it right now. its nowhere as nice to hold as the logitech vx nano which was posted for 48$ a while ago. but its responsive, pretty high dpi. doesn't work well on a piece of paper, unlike the logitech.

the scroll wheel is surprisingly unsmooth, doesn't have clicks. not sure what's going on there. prolly wouldn't have paid anymore than $25 for it. wireless dongle's big too.

    • I find its pretty comfortable. Comfortwise its up there with my vx revolution, just the right grooves and curves in the right places. I'm not a big fan of the vx nano, after long periods its super uncomfortable although it is great since it is really portable.

Agree with you on the scroll wheel, I like the clicking wheels as they give feedback. The dongle is around the same size as the vx rev though
