  • Has anybody unlocked it yet? What is the cheapest unlock option for this one?

    • Found one for $13.5USD/$14.5AUD~. Haven't tried it, but have msg'd them to find out if it will work.

      • +2

Got a reply from them & they said they will do unlocks for T790 at this price. I'm going to go ahead & try this one & unlock mine. Costs almost as much as the phone…meh

In the end will end up costing $32.5 all up, but still cheaper than all the other new unlocked ones on eBay going for $40+.

If anyone has found a cheaper alternative, please share.

        • Thank you for sharing.

        • @ddhytz:

This phone should not take more than 5$ to unlock. Still hoping someone could find a way…

        • Thanks, please let us know if it worked.

  • I bought this 2x unlock deal for $20

Who wants to split with me? Write message reply below if you're interested. You'll have to pay me $10 through paypal first before I send off your imei along with mine.

    • So they accepted your offer of $20. Did you at first try making an offer lower than $20 like $18 & they counteroffered?

I also have 2 units to unlock so I might buy that myself. Remember to go through cashrewards to get 2%/40c back.

      • No, tried $20 first go. Figured this is in aud, not USD, and on eBay where they charge like 14% fee so $10 per code is fair and reasonable.

    • I'll split, do you accept paypal?

      • Pm sent last night, jic you didn't notice

  • Greaaat. I bought this phone, unlocked it, planning to give it to mum a few days later but my sister bought her an iPhone today. Guess I'll list it on fleabay then.

    • +1

Daughter is better than son. :-)

  • Might be obvious but has anyone tried DC unlock with this? Might be cheaper.

    • Maybe, but I just went with the above eBay seller to get it done. $10 each after best offer, cheapest as it stands atm.

      • Yeah.
They must have the micro niche market of these things covered. $10 is OK I guess.

  • Anyone need an unlock and want to split this?

    • Yes i would. I'll PM you.
