        Do you know if there will be a sale on the A7? I missed out on last week's sale and went into the nunawading store on the weekend. The guy said he'd check and let me know if he could honour the same deal.

    You can't really have 30% in the title when there's nothing in the fine print of that link suggesting it.

    In fact, all the invitation specifies is that it's a night to come and see the latest 4K screens and if you purchase one, you'll get a free PS4.

    Need more info for this to be a bargain.

      Agree - 10% off RRP means very little to anyone and you could probably beat that in any store. Rep would like to know what you consider a bargain and what would get me wasting a few hours tonight traipsing out to a store.

        Don't blame sales guys, it's really hard to get anyone interested in 4K TVs when there's no official 4K display feature standard, 4K software nor promise for future support via upgrades. Demo loops only get you so far.
        Seems "if you build it, they will come" hasn't been successful marketing ploy.

        Vagueness of the post deserves a neg. Rep, you need to list at least have one clear bargain.

          No it's not, i went to the last VIP night at Nunawading and TV's were still $200-300 worse off compared to negotiating a deal at JB.

    To the OP/Rep, I think the issue here is no specific pricing.

    Consumers are more intelligent and diligent than ever before and not only know the standard and sale prices of key items but know how to price match and negotiate etc.

    In saying that, I doubt many people would take the time to attend a night such as this where there are no guaranteed prices available beforehand. Especially if they arrive and see the discounts are run of the mill.

    Unless the prices are going to be so amazing that you only really want a small attendance, it really disadvantages you (and doesn't give ozbargain members much confidence) by using general 'up to %'.

      Well it just seems a Sony Centre employee posted the 'deal' up to get a bit of exposure, nothing wrong with that. All 'Sony Centre' stores are franchised owned and operate independent from Sony.
